Talking About Salt and Pepper

I recently had the delightfully fun opportunity to chat with Chef Mark Tafoya, director of the Culinary Media Network and host of The ReMARKable Palate podcast radio show. Mark, who is also a personal chef in New York City, loves travel and has a deep appreciating of culinary history—which is what led him to invite me to be on his show. In this episode, we discuss the two most common mainstays of both kitchen and table: salt and pepper. Click the link below to join us for a bit of a race through several thousand years of history for these two seasonings.
